Carrot Soup

4 medium size carrots
1 potato
2 medium onions
5 cloves garlic
1/2″ ginger
1 tsp red chilli powder
4 pepper corns
2 cloves
1/4″ cinnamon
A handful of coriander
Chop fine the onions and sautee in butter / oil with a few cloves of garlic and a little ginger till transparent.
Add 4 finely chopped carrots, 1 finely chopped potato and 1 tsp red chilli powder.
Sautee still soft .
Cool and puree in the mixie.
Splutter the spices in some oil in a heavy bottom dish till aroma is realeased.
Pour in the vegetable puree.
Add water and chopped coriander and boil well.
