3 cups maida (whole wheat also works well)
3 green chillies
12-15 cloves of garlic
2 fistfuls of mint leaves
1 tsp ajwain
A pinch or two of sugar
2 tbsp curd (yoghurt)
Salt to taste
Coarsely grind garlic and green chilli (I used the mortar and pestle)
In the flour put the sugar and salt to taste.
Add the ground mixture, ajwain and finely cut pudina and mix well.
Add a little oil and curd to this and mix well.
Knead with sufficient water for a soft dough.
Let the dough rest under cover for at least half hour.
Make small balls
Roll out each apply a little oil and roll into pipes.
Wrap these pipes like a snail body and roll out.
Cook like a regular roti with butter.
