700 gms boneless chicken
1 bunch spinach (palak)
5-6 green chillies
5-6 cloves of garlic
3 onions, sliced fine
1 tomato, chopped
1 tsp tumeric powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp garam masala powder
1/4 cup fresh cream
1 tbsp butter
Salt to taste
Oil as required
Marinate the chicken in salt and tumeric powder.
Wash the spinach leaves and steam in a vessel with chillies and garlic.
Puree to a fine paste.
Heat oil in a vessel and fry onions till almost brown.
Add the chopped tomato and fry till oil separates.
Add the coriander and cumin powder and saute for a minute or two.
Add the chicken and fry well.
Add the palak paste and mix till well coated.
Add a little water and simmer under cover.
Add garam masala powder and butter and salt as required and simmer some more time.
Mix in fresh cream and turn off heat.
Serve hot with rotis or naan.
