Bombay Toast FingersIngredients
4 slices white bread
1 cup chickpea flour (besan)
1.5 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp tumeric powder
1 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
A handful of coriander leaves, chopped fine
Salt to taste
Oil to fry

Cut the bread slices into 2 halves.
Mix together all other ingredients except salt.
Add enough water to make a thick pouring consistency batter.
Immerse the bread slices in the batter and coat well on both sides.
Heat oil in a pan and fry well on both side.
Serve with either mint chutney, tamarind chutney or tomato sauce.
